It's super easy — just send us your photos, we scan them for free!

  1. Email us to tell us you're interested team@photoscans.ie
  2. Once confirmed, we'll send you our delivery address. 
  3. You place 3 photos in an envelope and post to us.
  4. We clean, scan, and double-check everything is tip-top.
  5. We send you a link to view and download your new digital scans.

 

You can consider it a flavour of what to expect from us - we think you'll love it.

What if I don't want to continue getting all photos scanned?

Once we complete the scanning of your trial photos. We get in touch with you to check if you'd like to continue with an order.

If it's a yes (we hope!) we hold your trial images to join the rest of the new order batch. If it's a no, we ship your trial photos back to you.

Your images, your rules

Don't fret there are no strings attached. No watermarks, no limits, and your scans are in the highest quality. It's 600dpi, which is higher than most services in Ireland.

We hope you'll get a sense of how we operate and consider getting your family albums or friend photos scanned too!

Quality control checks

We monitor each scan to ensure there are no visible dust particles or imperfections. If one gets through, we clean the photo with compressed air and re-scan it!

Handling photos for over 17 years

Our company was born because Aaron our founder, solved the album-hunting problem in his own family. Now all aunts, uncles, cousins, can view Kathleen's photos anytime they wish. Read our founder's story.

Aaron Guthrie, started taking photos when he was a youngster — parties, bands, first communions and news stories.

He went to film school in London and fell in love with the technical process of making, editing, restoring and archiving images.
